I've recently been prescribed Folgard OS Tablets by my doctor to help manage my homocysteine levels. I've done some research, and I know it contains a mix of folic acid, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12, but I'm curious if anyone else has experience with this medication or any insights about how it works? I've also been looking at other possible vitamin supplements to manage my homocysteine levels but am unclear about Folgard OS. Does it have any side effects that I should be aware of? I'm hoping to hear some personal experiences and expert advice regarding this supplement.

Honestly, I think it’s a bit overhyped. I’ve been fine without any supplements, and my homocysteine levels are normal. Just make sure you listen to your body. If anything feels off, talk to your doctor.

I’ve had skin issues as well, it’s scary stuff. But I wonder why is anyone strongly recommending it?

I was prescribed this too, but I switched to a different vitamin B12 supplement because I got a constant rash and itching! I think you should definitely be aware of the allergic reactions, especially if you are sensitive to other medications.

I can’t believe people are so scared of it, I took it for a while and nothing bad happened, actually I felt better. It’s like, if you take it and nothing happens, then you don’t have to worry, if you do, you go to the doctor. Seems like a logical path.

I've just started taking Folgard a couple of weeks ago - seriously concerned about the nausea and constipation. Maybe it's just my body getting used to it? How long did it take you to get used to it?

I take Folgard OS and haven’t had any problems. I think the benefits for heart health are worth it. Just make sure to take it with food to avoid stomach issues
