I recently started taking Furosemide 10mg/ml Oral Solution. I'm finding it helps a lot with the swelling in my legs, which is great, but I've been experiencing some side effects like dizziness and headaches. Has anyone else had similar experiences? What are some ways to manage these side effects? Also, I'm curious about the more severe side effects listed. How common are they really? I'm a bit worried about things like kidney problems or allergic reactions. Any advice or personal stories would be greatly appreciated!

I've had some issues with the medication and decided to switch to a different diuretic. I think everyone's body reacts differently to it.

I've seen my dad go through this medication, he takes it for his congestive heart failure. He's had some mild side effects like stomach cramps and nausea but nothing too bad. I think the swelling is worth the trade-off. Just make sure to follow your doctor's advice.

I've heard that drinking plenty of water can help flush out the excess potassium. I've never had any headaches from it.

I had severe dizziness when I first started taking it. My doctor advised me to take it in the morning and avoid sudden movements. It helped a lot. Also, make sure to eat a banana or two a day to keep your potassium levels up!

I've been on Furosemide for about a year now, and while it's helped with my blood pressure, I've had some issues with electrolyte imbalances. I had to start taking potassium supplements to keep my levels in check. It's definitely something to discuss with your doctor. Stay hydrated and monitor your potassium levels!

I wouldn't worry too much about the severe side effects. They're rare, and if you monitor your body closely, you should be fine. But if you experience anything unusual, make sure to get it checked out!

I switched to a lower dose and it's helped a lot with the side effects. Just be sure to talk to your doctor before making any changes. It's hard to find the right balance but it's worth it.

I had to stop taking it because of the dizziness. I think the side effects are worse than the problem itself. My sister has the same medication and she's fine.
