I've been prescribed Gastrocrom 100mg/5ml Conc 5ml Vials for systemic mastocytosis. I've heard it's not for immediate relief, but I'm curious about how long it typically takes to see improvements in symptoms like stomach pain and diarrhea. Has anyone else used this medication, and if so, what was your experience? I've also read about some severe side effects, so I'm a bit worried. Any tips on managing side effects or insights on what to expect would be greatly appreciated!

I've been on a few medications and this one is way better! I can tell. It's having a positive effect, but also a few side effects. I'm guessing that's why I have to take it every day. If you're facing any problems, you can just go to the nearest hospital for help. There is no need to expose yourself to danger.

As a nurse, I can tell you that allergic reactions are rare but serious. If you experience any signs, get to a hospital immediately. This comment of mine is not to scare you, just for your information! There are also ways to lessen the side effects. It took me a while to find out how to do this.

I've been on Gastrocrom for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer for my digestive symptoms. It's definitely worth sticking with if you're having issues.

I started Gastrocrom last month. Haven't noticed a huge difference yet, but I'm hoping it's just a matter of time. I think the side effects I've had are worth the potential benefits in the long run.

I've been on Gastrocrom for a few months now, and it took about 2-3 weeks to start noticing a difference. Stick with it, it's worth it.

I'm working with my doctor to try and find the right dosage. I've heard others saying that sometimes it takes a bit of trial and error to get it right. Has anyone else found this to be true?

I've had some pretty severe diarrhea since I started taking it. Anyone else? Was this your experience too?

I've had some headaches since starting Gastrocrom, but my doc said that's a common side effect. Just make sure to stay hydrated and take it easy if you experience any. Not worth freaking out over. If it gets bad, talk to your doctor. I'm sure they can help you manage it.

I had no idea this stuff was to stabilize mast cells. I mean, you can't just take it for a few days and expect everything to clear up. You have to really stick with it.
