I was recently prescribed Bexarotene 75mg Capsules for my cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL). I've started taking it, and I'm curious to hear from others who have experienced Bexarotene. I'm interested in knowing what side effects to expect, if they're manageable, and how the drug has worked for you. I know it can have some severe side effects, so I'm hoping to hear from people who have dealt with them. I also want to understand how it has impacted your overall quality of life. What should I expect as far as my skin condition improving? I have a lot of questions and hope to find some answers here.

The side effects for me were brutal. I had severe stomach pain and nausea, but what really scared me was the jaundice. I had to stop treatment for a month and get my liver checked. The doctor said it was pancreatitis, and I had to be hospitalized for a week. I'm on a lower dose now, but it's been a real struggle. My advice? Stay vigilant and report any severe symptoms right away.

Not everyone gets the bad side effects. I've been taking it for a while, and I've only had some minor headaches and dry skin. I haven't had to change my dose or anything. I think it's all about how your body responds, so keep your spirits up and talk to your doctor if you have questions.

I had to stop taking Bexarotene because of an allergic reaction. I got a rash and hives, and it was just not worth it. I had to switch to another medication, but it's been a lot less harsh. My skin is getting better, but it's a slow process.

I've been on Bexarotene for about six months now. The most challenging part for me was the initial adjustment to the side effects. I experienced hair loss, dry skin, and fatigue, but fortunately, my doctor was able to manage them with some adjustments to my treatment plan. I've also had to be vigilant about reporting any unusual symptoms to my doctor, including signs of infection. The good news is that my CTCL has been improving steadily. It’s been a journey, but I'm glad I stuck with it.

I didn't have too many problems with Bexarotene. My side effects were pretty mild—mostly just some nausea and a mild headache. I think it's really important to take it as prescribed and stay in close contact with your doctor. It's made a huge difference for me, and I'm really hoping it continues to work well for you too.
