I've been using Azopt 1% eye drops for about 2 months now to manage high pressure in my eyes. I've read about some serious side effects and I'm starting to worry. I've had some mild blurred vision and a bad taste in my mouth, but nothing too concerning. However, I did have a brief moment where my vision seemed to change suddenly, and I felt a bit of tightness in my chest. I'm not sure if this is normal or if I should be worried. My doctor didn't mention any of these specific symptoms when prescribing it. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Any advice would be appreciated.

I switched to Azopt from another medication and noticed a bad taste in my mouth too. It sucked, but my doctor said it was a common side effect. Make sure to talk to your doctor if it gets too bad. Also, keep an eye on any skin reactions; they can be serious.

Azopt helped me a lot with my eye pressure, but I had to deal with blurred vision for a few weeks. It went away eventually, but it was pretty annoying while it lasted. Stick with it if you can, but definitely talk to your doctor if it gets worse.

I’ve been on Azopt for a while and have had no issues at all. Just make sure to follow the instructions and keep your eyes clean when using it.

I had a cousin who had a really bad reaction to Azopt. He ended up in the hospital with severe skin reactions and liver problems. It’s scary stuff. If you feel anything weird, go to the ER immediately.

I've been using Azopt for a few months and haven't had any major side effects. Just make sure to use it as prescribed and keep an eye out for any severe reactions.

I started getting a really bad taste in my mouth and it didn’t go away. It was so strange and unpleasant. I talked to my doctor and they suggested rinsing my mouth after using the drops, which helped a bit. I think switching to a different drug would be better in the long run, though.

I've had a really bad reaction to sulfa drugs in the past, so my doctor was extra cautious about prescribing Azopt. I've been lucky so far, but I know the risks. If you have a history of sulfa allergies, make sure your doctor knows.

I had a rash and some skin irritation, which is scary since I know that can be a sign of something serious. I called my doctor right away and they switched my medication. Better safe than sorry!

I’ve been on Azopt for over a year and haven’t had any major issues. The blurred vision is common at first but usually goes away. Just make sure to use it as prescribed and keep an eye out for any severe reactions.
