I was prescribed Matzim LA 240mg Tablets a few months ago for angina and high blood pressure. At first, it seemed to work well, but recently I've been experiencing some concerning side effects. I've noticed severe dizziness and a slow heartbeat, which is quite alarming. I've also had some skin irritation and swelling that makes me worried about potential allergic reactions. I've read the possible side effects, but I'd like to know if anyone else has gone through something similar. Has anyone experienced severe reactions and how did you manage them? Also, it would be helpful to know if anyone has tips on alleviating some of the mild side effects like headaches and feeling tired all the time. I've been taking the medication as prescribed, but these symptoms are making me question whether I should continue.

Severe reactions to Matzim LA should be taken seriously. A slow heartbeat can be dangerous, so make sure you talk to your doctor as soon as possible. For the headaches, you can try over-the-counter pain relievers, but always clear it with your doctor first.

Have you considered talking your doctor about a different medication? Do you know about the FDA MedWatch program for reporting side effects? I had to do that once, and it was actually pretty straightforward.

I've been on Matzim LA for a year now and haven't had any severe side effects. Just the occasional headache, but it's manageable. Maybe try talking to your doctor about adjusting the dosage?

I had some really bad allergic reactions at the beginning. It started with a rash, then progressed to hives and swelling. I ended up in the ER, and they switched me to a different medication. I think it's crucial to listen to your body because these symptoms can escalate quickly.

I can't believe you're still taking this medication with those symptoms. My buddy had similar issues, and after some tests, they found out he had a rare reaction to the drug. He had to stop taking it immediately. Maybe you should consider that.
