I was prescribed Synjardy XR 25-1000 Mg Tablets for my type 2 diabetes and I've been experiencing some severe side effects. I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar issues or if I should talk to my doctor about switching medications. The side effects listed are quite concerning, especially the signs of fluid and electrolyte problems. Has anyone else dealt with these issues? Any advice or similar experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I think it's worth it if it helps control your blood sugar. But you have to be aware of the side effects. I had some stomach issues and yeast infections, but my blood sugar is in check for the first time in years.

Did anyone else get weird skin reactions? I got some rash and itching that was seriously uncomfortable. I had to stop taking it because it was so bad. My doctor was really understanding and switched me to something else.

Synjardy XR worked well for me in controlling my blood sugar, but I did experience some stomach upset and diarrhea at first. My doctor told me it might take a week or two to adjust. I also felt like I was peeing more. By the second week, I felt loads better and the side effects were manageable.

I'm curious, has anyone else talked to their doctor about switching to a different medication? I think it's worth exploring other options if you're having major side effects.

I've been on it for a few months and it's been mostly smooth sailing. I had some minor stomach issues at first. But I had so many problems with my previous medication, so this is a huge improvement for me.

My doctor warned me about the low blood sugar symptoms but I still wasn't prepared. I started shaking and felt really lightheaded. I had to keep glucose tablets with me all the time. Now I'm used to it.

I had some nasty UTIs while on this. It was miserable but I am told it is very common. Make sure you stay hydrated!

I switched to Synjardy XR from metformin alone and noticed a significant drop in my A1C levels. However, I did have some issues with yeast infections. My doctor gave me some suggestions to prevent it, like wearing cotton underwear, and it helped a lot. It's worth talking to your doctor about these issues, they might have some tips to make it more bearable.

I had a bad reaction to this medication. I started feeling really dizzy and weak and had to go to the ER. Turns out, it was a severe electrolyte imbalance. I'm not on it anymore. Be careful and listen to your body.
