My sister had a severe allergic reaction to Atabex. She ended up in the ER with hives and trouble breathing. Please be careful and report if you experience those symptoms!
I had some stomach pain and vomiting, but my doctor said it was likely due to the iron. Might be worth asking your doctor about that.

I avoided Atabex because of the black, tarry, or bloody stools possibility. I'm scared of those symptoms but my prenatal recommended it. I'm still deciding.
I was surprised by the change in stool color to green. Don't worry about it; it's just the iron.
