Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Benazepril 20mg Tablets?
I've been prescribed Benazepril 20mg Tablets for high blood pressure and I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The list of urgent side effects is quite long and scary. Is anyone else out there taking this medication? What has your experience been like? It would mean a lot to hear some real-life stories and advice.

I had a bad reaction to Benazepril. I developed a persistent cough and some swollen feet. I switched to another medication and felt much better. If you get any bad symptoms, def talk to your doc.
Mine didn't work at all. I had to change meds but I didn't have any side effects. Maybe take it easy and see how your body responds, and always have a plan b ready.
I haven't had any issues with it so far. Makes me feel better knowing that the side effects are rare.
I was so scared of side effects that I decided to try to living with high blood pressure while I researched alternative treatments to lower my BP. I was so scared of the side effects described. I have a friend that was so scared of the side effects, he walked around terrified for a month until he went to see a doctor. The doctor prescribed him Benazepril and he feels better now.
As someone who has had a kidney problem, I can tell you that you take this w/ caution if you have any kidney issues. It messed me up big time, and I had to stop taking them. You gotta listen to your body, but definitely don't ignore any of those symptoms mentioned.
I work in a pharmacy and Benazepril is really commonly prescribed. I don’t get to hear about side effects often so it’s probably alright
