Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Brimonidine 0.15% eye drops? I'm worried about allergic reactions and eye pain.
I've been prescribed Brimonidine 0.15% Ophthalmic Solution for my glaucoma, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've read that it can cause severe allergic reactions and eye pain. Has anyone else had these issues? I want to know what to expect and how to manage any adverse effects if they occur. Also, are there any tips for using the drops effectively? I want to make sure I'm doing everything right to protect my vision.

I had a bad reaction to Brimonidine. I got a rash and my eyes were super irritated. I had to stop using it. Make sure you have a backup plan if it doesn't work out for you.
I never use drops again after the eyelid swelling. I had a doctor said it was a reaction. I get the same issue with other drops, so I just stick with oral medications now.
Keep it in your fridge before using it. It feels so much better
I've had no issues with the drops so far. I think the best thing is to just keep an eye out for any changes in your eyesight or any signs of an allergic reaction.
I've been using Brimonidine for a while now, and it's been fine for me. I did have some burning sensations at first, but it went away after a few days. Just make sure to follow your doctor's instructions.
It's not the best feeling when the drops sting, but I've found that keeping my eyes closed for 2-3 minutes after applying it helps a lot.
I get pretty bad dry mouth from Brimonidine. I keep a water bottle with me all the time to deal with it.
I haven't had any serious side effects. Just a little tingling. I find it easiest to put the drops in when I'm home and can relax.
