Has anyone experienced severe side effects from Brimonidine/Timolol 0.2/0.5% eye drops?
I've been using Brimonidine/Timolol 0.2/0.5% eye drops for a few months now to manage my glaucoma. Overall, they've been effective in lowering the pressure in my eyes, but I've been experiencing some mild side effects like eye irritation and itching. I’ve also read about some serious potential side effects, which is worrying. I've heard stories of people having allergic reactions or even heart problems. Has anyone else had similar experiences? I’m considering talking to my doctor about these side effects, but I’d love to hear from others who have gone through the same thing. What should I look out for? How have you managed any side effects?

The burning sensation is the worst, but it usually goes away after a few minutes. If it persists, definitely talk to your doctor. Also, make sure to wash your hands before applying the drops to avoid infection.
Just wanted to add that if you experience any severe side effects, it's crucial to contact your doctor right away. Don't wait it out. It's better to be safe.
I've had some minor irritation too, but nothing too bad. Just stick to the prescribed dose and talk to your doctor if it gets worse.
I’ve been on these drops for a year and I’ve had no issues except for a little stinging at first. I’m so glad I haven't had any serious side effects.
