I've been taking Conex Cold/Allergy Oral Solution for a few days now to help with my allergies, but I'm starting to worry about the side effects. The medicine has been working well to relieve my sneezing and stuffy nose, but I've noticed some slight dizziness and trouble sleeping. I'm not sure if this is something I should be concerned about or if it's just a minor issue that will pass. Have any of you experienced similar side effects? What should I do if these symptoms continue or get worse? Also, is it normal to feel more nervous and excitable than usual? I want to make sure I'm not overreacting, but I also don't want to ignore any serious symptoms.

Try taking it with food. Sometimes that can help with the side effects. But yeah, if it gets worse, definitely talk to your doctor.

Why don’t you try an alternative medication? There are plenty of them out there, why risk it?

I think you’re overreacting a bit. Dizziness and trouble sleeping are pretty common side effects with this stuff. Just give it a few days and see if it gets better.

My friend had a really bad reaction to this stuff. He had a rash and swelling of the face. He ended up in the ER. Be careful and watch out for any signs of an allergic reaction. If you notice anything like that, go to the hospital ASAP!

I felt really nervous and excitable too! I stopped taking it and it went away. Not sure if it was the medicine or something else, but it’s worth mentioning to your doctor.

What dosage are you taking? It might be worth talking to your doctor about lowering the dose if it’s causing issues. Quick fix might be adjusting the dose.

I’ve been taking it for years and never had an issue. I would just keep an eye on it and see what happens. But always consult with your doctor first.

My sister-in-law had a bad reaction to this once. It’s worth being cautious. If in doubt, stop taking it and talk to a medical professional.

I had a similar experience with Conex. I also felt dizziness and trouble sleeping. I talked to my doctor and they said it could be normal, but they switched me to a different medication just to be safe.

I’ve had no problems with it. But I’ve read stuff about it causing chest pain or pressure. If you feel any of that, go to the ER immediately.
