I recently started using Cuvitru 8gm/40ml Inj for my primary immunodeficiency. I've heard some scary things about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else dealt with this medication? What were your experiences like? I'm particularly concerned about the severe lung problems and brain inflammation mentioned in the warning. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I feel your pain. Let's hope for the best, but be ready for the worst.

I'm surprised more people aren't talking about this. It's a heavy topic.

I had a really tough time with Cuvitru initially. I experienced severe stomach pain and dark urine, which was super scary. I ended up in the ER, and they told me it was due to the medication. I switched to a different treatment afterward. It's important to listen to your body and seek medical help if something feels off.

This stuff is a lifesaver, but the side effects can be brutal. Stay vigilant, everyone.

I can't believe how many serious side effects there are. I had no idea this medication could be so dangerous. I think I might switch to something else if I have any side effects.

I've been on Cuvitru for a while and have had some issues with muscle or joint pain, but nothing too bad. I make sure to stay hydrated and rest when I need to. It's all about managing the symptoms and staying in touch with your healthcare provider. If you experience fever, chills, or sore throat, go to the doctor immediately.

Cuvitru has been a game-changer for me. I had severe lung problems before I started using it, and now I feel much better. I've only had minor side effects like flushing and cramps, which are manageable. Just make sure to report any severe symptoms to your doctor right away. It’s important to monitor for signs of aseptic meningitis, too. Headache, fever, and severe stomach upset or vomiting are key indicators.

I've been on Cuvitru for a few months now, and while I've had some mild side effects like irritation at the injection site and a bit of dizziness, nothing too serious. I keep a close eye on my symptoms and have my doctor's contact on speed dial just in case. It's definitely a relief to know I'm getting the antibodies I need.
