I was recently prescribed Ferrous Sulfate 325mg EC Tabs Red to treat my iron deficiency anemia. I understand that it's a common supplement, but I'm a bit worried about the potential side effects. The prescription information lists some serious side effects like allergic reactions, fever, and even vomiting blood. Has anyone else experienced any of these? I'm also wondering if there are any tips to minimize the gastrointestinal issues like constipation and stomach pain. I've read that taking it with food can help, but I'm not sure if that's enough. I'd love to hear from others who have taken this and what their experiences were like.

I got really bad constipation when I started taking it. My doctor suggested taking a stool softener, and that helped a lot. Just make sure to stay hydrated too!

I had a really bad reaction to it and ended up in the hospital. I'll never take that again. If you start feeling weird, don't hesitate to call your doctor.

I've been taking Ferrous Sulfate for years and never had any issues. It's great for keeping my iron levels up, and I don't get any side effects. But I do take it with food and a lot of water.

Be careful with this stuff. I had a friend who had a really bad reaction and had to stop taking it. If you start feeling weird, don't hesitate to call your doctor.

I had really bad stomach cramps when I started taking it. I took some TUMS and it helped a lot. Good luck with your treatment!

I've been on Ferrous Sulfate for a few months now and haven't had any major issues. I take it with food and it helps with the stomach issues. Don't worry, you'll probably be fine!
