I was recently prescribed Furosemide 10mg/ml Injection for fluid retention and high blood pressure. It works quickly, but I'm concerned about the potential side effects, especially the severe ones listed in the leaflet. I've heard some people have had really bad reactions. Has anyone here had similar experiences or know if the side effects are as bad as they sound? I want to be prepared and know what to expect. I've read that it's a common medication, but the list of severe side effects is alarming. I want to know if they are really that common or if it's just a scare tactic. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

What is it with diuretics? They always come with a laundry list of side effects. I had a similar experience with another diuretic. I'm glad it's working for you, but definitely keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms. Better safe than sorry.

I think the side effects are generally rare. I've been on it for months and the worst I've had is a bit of a headache. Just make sure you stay hydrated and monitor your electrolyte levels!

I had a friend who had to stop taking it because of severe allergic reactions. It's pretty rare, but it does happen. Keep an eye out for any signs of allergic reactions and contact your doctor ASAP.

I've been on Furosemide for a while and haven't had any severe issues. Just some mild dizziness and upset stomach, but nothing major. Definitely talk to your doctor if you experience anything strange!

The severe side effects are rare, but they can happen. Just be cautious and if you notice anything weird, don't hesitate to call your doctor. Safety first!
