Side effects worry me too. But my doctor said the benefits of managing my blood pressure are worth the risks. Just be vigilant and report anything odd to your doc.
I'm on Hydrodiuril and I love it. It controls my blood pressure perfectly and I haven't had any issues. Maybe you'll be one of the lucky ones who don't get side effects.
I noticed some changes in my urine output and color shortly after starting. Turns out I was dehydrated. Up your water intake, it can really help.
I've heard that some people develop gout while on this medication. Something to keep in mind. Also, make sure to avoid excessive sun exposure because of the skin cancer risk.
