I've been taking Miralax 3350 Powder Packets for a few weeks now to help with occasional constipation, and while it seems to work, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The package insert mentions some serious side effects like allergic reactions, severe dizziness, and even rectal bleeding. Has anyone else experienced any of these? I'm particularly worried about the possibility of an allergic reaction. I've had mild symptoms but can someone tell me what to expect if I continue taking the medication? Or should I be concerned and discontinue its use? Has anyone had any luck with alternative treatments? Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences.

I switched to a different laxative after reading about the potential side effects of Miralax. I'm not sure if it's worth the risk for me. I hated the cramps and the bloating.

I've been using Miralax for a while and haven't had any major issues. Just some mild stomach cramps at first, but they went away. Make sure to drink plenty of water and it should help a lot.

I was terrified when I started getting hives, but it turned out to be a reaction to a new laundry detergent I had started using. Not Miralax. Oh well.

I had a similar experience and the cramps went away after a few days. I recommend taking it before you go to bed and for me it helped a lot. Although if you get severe side effects like hives or trouble breathing, definitely go to the ER.

Miralax saved my life during a road trip. I was constipated for days and nothing worked until I tried this. No side effects for me, just relief.

I had mild dizziness when I first started taking it, but it went away after a few days. If you're experiencing severe symptoms, definitely consult a doctor. Don't mess around with stuff like that.

I've heard mixed things about Miralax. Some people swear by it, while others have had horrible experiences. Maybe try something natural first, like increasing your fiber intake or drinking more prune juice.
