I've been taking Famotidine 10mg Tablets for a few weeks now to manage my heartburn and indigestion, and I've noticed some unusual symptoms. I've had a couple of episodes of dizziness and a really fast heartbeat. It was scary! I stopped taking Famotidine right away and talked to my doctor. They recommended a different medication that works just as well without the scary side effects.
I had a really bad allergic reaction to Famotidine. It was terrifying—hives, swelling, the works. I had to go to the ER. If you notice any signs of an allergic reaction, DO NOT WAIT. Get to a doctor immediately.
I've been on Famotidine for a while and haven't had any serious issues. Just the occasional headache, but nothing major.
I've tried everything, and Famotidine is the only thing that works for me. As long as you talk to your doctor about any side effects, I think it's worth it for the relief it provides.
I've had nothing but headaches since I started taking it. It's been a real pain, literally. I'm thinking of switching back to Tums.
I switched to a lower dose and it helped a lot with the side effects. My doctor recommended it since I was experiencing dizziness and a fast heartbeat. Maybe that could help you too
