I've been prescribed Nadolol 80mg Tablets for high blood pressure and angina. I've read about the potential side effects, which are concerning. Has anyone else taken this medication and experienced severe side effects like allergic reactions, dizziness, or heart failure? I'm particularly interested in hearing about anyone who has had to seek medical attention immediately. How did you manage the situation, and what advice would you give to someone starting this medication? I want to be prepared for any potential issues that might arise.

If I could go back I'd get a second opinion. All I can say is be careful. I've had 2 beta blockers but this one was too much for me.

I had a severe reaction to Nadolol. I woke up one morning feeling like I couldn't breathe and my chest was tight. Turns out I was having an allergic reaction. I had to go to the ER, and they switched me to a different medication. Be prepared, but don't ignore serious symptoms.

I've been on Nadolol for a few months now and it's been great. No major issues, but I did notice my heart rate is slower. I check it regularly to make sure it stays within a good range.

I was on Nadolol for a while and it worked well for my blood pressure, but I did experience some dizziness, especially when I stood up too quickly. It was manageable, but I did have to be cautious at first. Always talk to your doctor if you feel uncomfortable.
