I've recently been prescribed Oyster Shell /d 500mg Tablets for my calcium and vitamin D needs. I've heard that this medication can cause some serious side effects, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced them. Has anyone had issues with allergic reactions or high calcium levels? I'm also interested to know if anyone has had to stop taking this medication due to side effects. How has the severity of symptoms been for those who have not stopped taking it? Is there any other information or specific tips that this community might have about handling the potential side effects of this medication?

Who knows, maybe it’s just a coincidence, but I felt like I was getting sick more often while taking these. I ditched them and haven’t had any issues since.

I've noticed I feel more tired lately and my bones have hurt. I've been taking them for a while, so I might need to talk to my doctor about it. Hard to tell what to blame for the symptoms, but maybe it is the Oyster Shell /d 500mg.

I had a bad reaction with the redness and peeling skin. Was freaky! I switched to a liquid calcium and vitamin D supplement and that has been much better.

I've been on these tablets for a few months and haven't experienced any major side effects. Just the occasional upset stomach.

I actually love these tablets! No side effects and I feel great. I think it's all about finding the right supplement for your body.

I've noticed a bit of weakness and confusion sometimes. I'm not sure if it's the tablets or something else, but it's something to watch out for.

I've had a few bouts of hives, but my doctor said it might not be related to the tablets (though I can't be sure). I'm going to switch to a different supplement soon.
