I've been on Biktarvy for a few months now, and while it's been great for managing my HIV, I've had some pretty rough side effects. I've heard it can be different for everyone, so I'm curious to know if anyone else has experienced similar issues and how you've coped with them. I've been dealing with some fatigue and stomach issues that have been making it hard to keep up with my daily routine. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated! Also, I'm wondering if anyone has had to switch from Biktarvy due to persistent side effects and what other medications they've found effective. Thanks in advance for any insights!

I’ve been on Biktarvy for about 6 months now, and while it’s effective, I’ve had some pretty bad diarrhea that makes it difficult to get through the day. I talked to my doctor about it, and we’re trying to tweak my diet to see if that helps. I’ve also heard that some people have had luck with probiotics, so I might try that next. It’s frustrating, but I’m hopeful that with some adjustments, I can manage it better.

I'm so glad I found this thread. I've been hesitant to bring up my side effects with my doctor because I didn't want to sound ungrateful. But reading everyone's experiences makes me realize that it's important to talk about these things and find solutions together.

I'm on Biktarvy and haven't had any major issues, but I did experience some mood swings initially. It was a bit scary, but after a few weeks, it seemed to stabilize. I think it’s important to stay in close contact with your doctor, especially in the early stages.

I switched from Atripla to Biktarvy and it was a game-changer. I had really bad side effects with Atripla, like kidney problems and fatigue. Haven't felt better since! Biktarvy has been a lot easier on my body, I'd definitely recommend trying it out if you're having a lot of issues.

I was really nervous about starting Biktarvy because of all the side effects I read about, but so far, so good. Just a bit of headache and nausea at first, but it's all manageable. Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Good luck with everything! It’s tough dealing with side effects, but remember that you’re not alone. Biktarvy can be a lifeline for a lot of us, so it’s worth finding a way to work around the issues.

I've been on Biktarvy for about a year and have had a pretty good experience. I did experience some nausea at the beginning, but it went away after a few weeks. I've also had a few headaches from time to time, but nothing too overwhelming. I just make sure to stay hydrated and take it easy when they happen.

If you haven't already, talk to your doctor about adjusting the dose or timing. Sometimes, taking it with food can help with the stomach issues. Also, make sure you’re not skipping any doses, as that can sometimes make the side effects worse.
