I've been prescribed Blocadren 5mg Tablets (Timolol) for high blood pressure and to prevent chest pain. I've been taking them regularly as prescribed, but I'm worried about the potential side effects. The urgent side effects listed are quite concerning, especially the signs of an allergic reaction and severe dizziness or fainting. Has anyone else experienced any of these urgent side effects? How did you handle them? Also, what other side effects have you encountered? I'm particularly curious about the more common ones like dizziness, fatigue, weakness, and upset stomach. Did you discuss these side effects with your doctor? I'm trying to decide whether these side effects are worth the benefits of the medication. If you have any advice or personal experiences to share, I'd really appreciate it.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's experience with medication is different. What works for one person might not work for another. It's always best to talk to your doctor about any concerns or side effects you're experiencing. Your doctor can help you weigh the benefits and risks of your medication and make any necessary adjustments.

I've had no issues with Blocadren so far. It's been a lifesaver for my high blood pressure.

I switched to Blocadren from another beta-blocker because of similar side effects. I have to say, Blocadren has been much easier on me. I only experience mild dizziness sometimes, but nothing I can't handle. Definitely worth talking to your doctor about.

I experienced severe dizziness and swelling in my legs when I started taking Blocadren. I had to stop taking it immediately and was put on a different medication. Initially, I thought the side effects were worth it, but they got so severe that I had to quit.

I'm curious about the muscle weakness. I've heard that some beta-blockers can cause that, and I'm a bit worried about it. Has anyone else experienced that? If so, how did you deal with it? It's important to note that it's listed as an urgent side effect, but I've seen other people mention it as a more common side effect. It's a bit confusing.

I had mild dizziness when I first started taking Blocadren, but it went away after a few weeks. The biggest issue for me was the fatigue. I felt so tired all the time, and it was hard to get anything done. But I didn't experience any of the urgent side effects, thankfully. Talk to your doctor if you feel the side effects are unbearable. They might be able to adjust your dose or change your medication.

I've been on Blocadren for a few months now, and while I haven't experienced any urgent side effects, I did have some dizziness and fatigue at first. It was manageable, though, and my doctor said it should go away with time. Yes it did. Your mileage may vary.
