I've been on Matzim LA for years. I do have to watch my liver function with regular blood tests because of a family history of liver issues, so my doctor keeps a close eye on me. The medication has been very effective for me, though. Just make sure to stay on the same dosage your doctor prescribes. Changing it yourself can cause more problems.
