I was prescribed Promethazine 25mg Tablets for allergies, but I’ve been reading about some pretty serious side effects. Has anyone else had any unusual or scary experiences with this medication? I’m curious to know if the side effects are as bad as they seem, or if they’re just rare and not something to worry about.

I took it before surgery and it helped me relax, but I had some weird twitching in my arms. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but now I’m wondering if that was normal.

It's also used as an anti-nausea med—it really helped with my motion sickness. Just be careful and read the warnings!

I had a friend who ended up in the hospital because of this stuff. They had some kind of reaction and couldn’t stop vomiting. Definitely be careful.

I feel like the benefits outweigh the risks for me. I’ve had no major problems, just a bit of dry mouth, but it’s helped my allergies a lot.
