I've recently been prescribed Diltiazem CD 180mg Capsules for high blood pressure and chest pain. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else been taking this medication? What has your experience been like? I'd love to hear some personal stories and tips. Also, are there any specific foods or activities I should avoid while on this medication? Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Please share your thoughts and experiences here.

A friend of mine had to stop taking Diltiazem because of a severe dizziness issue. His doctor recommended some alternatives that worked well. It seems like everyone reacts differently to this med.

I’ve been on Diltiazem for a year and I actually think it’s better for heart rhythm than my old med. Just listen to your body and take it easy at first if you’re worried, you’ll get used to it.

I had a terrible time with this drug. It caused really bad skin rashes and I had to go to the ER. I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or something else, but it was bad. I was lucky enough to get something else that worked well for me.

Seriously? Diltiazem is a big no for me. I had some bad reactions, like severe dizziness and a really slow heartbeat. I switched to another med and I'm much better now.

Thanks for the heads-up about the severe reactions. I didn’t know about the potential liver issues.

Did anyone have trouble with insurance covering this? I'm wondering if there's a generic version that's cheaper.

I started Diltiazem and it actually helped control my irregular heartbeat. I had some dizziness at first but it went away after a few weeks. Just make sure you take it regularly at the same time every day.

I found a great app called Medscape that helps track my meds and potential interactions. It's been really helpful for managing my Diltiazem and other prescriptions. I also make sure to monitor my blood pressure daily. The ups and downs can be drastic, so daily monitoring is key.

My doctor suggested switching to a lower dose if I experience side effects. Has anyone tried that? It’s worth trying before giving up on the medication entirely.

I've been on Diltiazem for a while now and it's been a game-changer for my hypertension. Just make sure to take it at the same time every day to maintain a consistent level in your system.
