I was recently diagnosed with cold agglutinin disease (CAD) and my doctor prescribed Enjaymo. The possible side effects are a bit frightening. Has anyone here had experience with this medication? I'm looking for any insights or advice on what to expect during and after the infusion. How many infusions did your doctor recommend for you? Were there any side effects that were not listed? If so, what were they? Of the listed side effects, which ones did you experience? And finally, how has the medication impacted your daily life and quality of life? Thank you in advance for sharing your experiences!

I found that staying hydrated really helped with the flu-like symptoms. I literally drank gallons of water the day of and day after my infusion. It's hard but worth it.

My doctor recommended I take an over-the-counter allergy medicine before the infusion to help with any potential reactions. It seemed to help a lot.

I'm new to this but my doctor suggested that I keep a journal of how I feel before and after the infusion to help track any side effects. That way, if something comes up, I'll have a record to show my doctor.

I've been on Enjaymo for a few months now. The infusion process is pretty straightforward, but the first time was a bit nerve-wracking. My doctor gave me a list of possible side effects and what to do if I experienced any. The nurse was really good about monitoring me during the infusion. I had some mild flu-like symptoms afterwards, but nothing too bad. It's been a game-changer for managing my CAD.
