I've been prescribed Tolmetin Sodium 400mg Capsules for my arthritis, and I'm a bit nervous about the side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? Did you experience any of the severe side effects listed? I'm particularly worried about the skin reactions and bleeding issues. How did your doctor monitor these problems? Any tips on managing the side effects would be super helpful!

I've had it for years with Naprosyn (naproxen sod) for a while. With time I lost my fear. Not sure if the arthritis will kill me first or the side effects.

I had some pretty bad headaches when I started taking it, but they went away after a few days. I had some nausea, but a couple of crackers and I was good to go. It took a while to get used to it, but it wasn't a big deal. I took it a couple of times and I had a bad reaction. Now I don't take it regularly.

Had to stop taking it after I started having trouble with urination. Severe kidney problems alerted doctors. Woke up in the hospital and I was very concerned. I was 2 inches from dying.

My mom was on it for a while and had no issues. But she's one of the lucky ones. I had to stop taking it because of the stomach pain. You might want to keep an eye out for that, and talk to your doctor about starting it out low and slow.
