I've been prescribed Amitiza 24mcg Capsules for my chronic constipation, and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've heard it can cause things like severe allergic reactions and low blood pressure. I'm wondering if anyone else has had any serious side effects from this medication or if it's generally well-tolerated. I've also heard about shortness of breath and stomach pain. Has anyone experienced these issues? Also, what are the signs of an allergic reaction that I should really be on the lookout for? Be careful with this one. I had some pretty severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. It was not fun.

I had a weird rash that my doctor thought was related to the Amitiza. I stopped taking it and the rash went away.
