I've been looking into Pramosone 1% Cream for my daughter's eczema, but I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects. The medication is supposed to contain two active ingredients: pramoxine, which numbs the skin to stop itching and pain, and hydrocortisone, which reduces inflammation. However, the list of side effects listed in the description is quite alarming. I'm wondering if anyone else has used this cream and experienced any of the more severe symptoms. Any advice or personal experiences would be greatly appreciated!

I had a friend who used Pramosone and had a bad reaction. I think her skin was thinner in some areas and she also had some slight hair growth. It was pretty scary. Might be worth looking into alternatives or consulting a specialist.

I'm still convinced that the hydrocortisone in this is making my eczema flare-ups worse. I think it's one of those things where everyone's experience is so different I'd do a lot of research and consider a few different options.

I noticed some signs of Cushing's syndrome (weight gain, moon face) when I was using a similar cream with hydrocortisone. It was terrible. I think it's worth considering a different treatment if you have any similar symptoms.

If you're not sure, do your own research and ask a dermatologist. Honestly, doctors give out too much hydrocortisone. They don't realize how delicate the skin is, and it can get pretty bad if you overuse it.
