Has anyone had severe side effects from Ativan (Lorazepam) injection? Feel free to share your experience.
I've recently been prescribed Ativan 2mg/ml Inj, 1ml for severe anxiety. The potential side effects listed are quite concerning, especially the urgent ones. I wanted to know if anyone has experienced any severe side effects from this medication. How severe were they? Were you able to manage them? If anything, I would like to know how my doctor can help me so I am prepared for it. I've done quite a bit of research, but I think it's always best to hear from people who have firsthand experience with the medication. I had a bad reaction to Ativan once. I experienced hallucinations and severe dizziness. It was terrifying. My doctor switched me to a different medication, and I've been fine since. If you start feeling weird, don't hesitate to call your doctor.
My dad has had some bad experiences with benzos. I would be really careful with this stuff. Make sure you're monitored closely.
Just be really careful. Ativan is a powerful drug, so be prepared for some serious side effects, but it could really help you too. If it gets too rough, then don’t hesitate to call your doctor.
Anxiety... I've been there. Even not taking meds, I felt like I couldn't be alone without someone else's presence. I'm not sure she can help, but if you need someone to talk to, I'm here to listen. How are you feeling?
I’ve never had any serious side effects, but I know someone who had a bad reaction to it. They experienced hallucinations and confusion. But I’ve heard a lot of people having positive experiences with it. Just be careful and monitor yourself closely.
