Has anyone had success lowering their LDL with Questran 4gm Light Powder 210gm? Sharing my experience and side effects
I was recently prescribed Questran 4gm Light Powder 210gm to help lower my LDL cholesterol. I've been taking it for about a month now, and I'm wondering if anyone else has had success with it. The powder isn't the most appealing to mix with water, but I've managed to get used to the taste. It seems to be doing its job, but I've been experiencing some mild constipation. My doctor suggested increasing my fiber intake and drinking more fluids, which has helped a bit. I've also read about some serious side effects, so I'm being cautious and monitoring my symptoms closely. Has anyone else had any issues or tips to share? And is it as bad as I am making it out to be to drink?

I've had no issues with Questran so far. It does exactly what it's supposed to, and I haven't had any side effects. I'd just make sure you're staying hydrated and eating enough fiber.
This stuff is a lifesaver for my cholestatis. I got the itching under control and it's been a game-changer. I'm just glad I didn't have to go through the side effects that everyone else is talking about.
I had a really bad reaction to this stuff. Within a week, I started getting hives and my throat felt tight. Scared the heck out of me. Ended up in the ER and everything. Not worth it for me.
I'm a bit worried about this stuff. My friend had some serious stomach problems after using it. I can't imagine taking anything that gives me severe constipation.
I was prescribed this for my cholesterol, but I couldn't stand the taste. Tried mixing it with orange juice, but that was even worse! I ended up switching to a pill form.
I don't know, man. I tried it and it just made my stomach hurt like crazy. This is probably my last try before I switch to a different medication. Does anyone else have any good alternatives?
I've been on Questran for a few months now and it's definitely helped lower my LDL. The constipation was a pain at first, but adding a daily fiber supplement sorted that out. Stay hydrated folks!
It sounds like I would need to take this stuff. Can anyone compare this to Tried and True? I think I've heard some good things about that.
