I've recently been prescribed Alprazolam 2mg ODT (Orally Disintegrating Tablets) for my anxiety and panic attacks. It's supposed to help calm the brain and nerves. I've read that these tablets dissolve quickly in your mouth without needing water, which is a plus. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones like allergic reactions, depression, and memory problems. I haven't started taking them yet, so I'm curious to hear from anyone who has had experience with Alprazolam ODT. How effective has it been, and what kind of side effects have you experienced? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I really hope it works for you. I've had a similar experience though, and the dizziness was really bad at first. But it subsided and I'm doing great

My friend had a bad reaction to this med. I hope you have a better experience! Just be careful and listen to your body.

I'm on my fourth day and I'm feeling so much better. I'm finally able to focus on work without the panic attacks. But yeah, I've felt a bit dizzy.

I've had a terrible time with Alprazolam. I had severe dizziness and memory loss. It's not for everyone, I guess. I switched to another med and it's been much better

I'm glad the ODT form dissolved so quickly for me. Be careful though, it's easy to take more than prescribed because it’s so convenient.

I've also had trouble with memory problems, but I spoke to my doctor about it and we adjusted the dose. Much better now, but still cautious.

My doctor warned me about the potential for dependence. Make sure to follow your prescription exactly and talk to your doctor if you feel like you need more.

I never thought I'd say this, but I actually miss the taste of these tablets. It's weird. Then again I'm not taking them anymore so whatever

I've been on Alprazolam ODT for a few months now, and it's been a lifesaver. Definitely helped with my panic attacks, but I did experience some dizziness and drowsiness at first.
