I was recently prescribed Gabitril 12mg Tablets to help control my partial seizures. My doctor explained that it works by increasing GABA in the brain, which should help reduce seizures. However, I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects, especially the serious ones. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I'd love to hear your stories, both positive and negative. What were your experiences with side effects? Any tips on managing them?

I had a mild rash and some itching when I first started Gabitril. Turns out it was an allergic reaction, and I had to stop taking it. If you notice anything like that, don't ignore it.

When I was on Gabitril, I had the weirdest stomach issues. Diarrhea and vomiting were a daily thing. Not fun at all. My advice? If you experience anything like that, talk to your doctor.

I'm glad to hear it's working for some people, but I had to switch due to some really bad side effects. Just be sure to talk to your doctor if you experience anything unusual.

Be careful with this one. I had a pretty bad reaction to Gabitril. I experienced some vision changes and trouble focusing, so I had to stop taking it. It's a bit scary.

I started Gabitril a few weeks ago and am already experiencing some seriousbalance issues. It's really tough to walk normally. Definitely going back to the doctor about this.

I've been on Gabitril for a few years, and it's been a good experience overall. Just remember to monitor your mood and behavior closely. It's rare, but the risk of suicidal thoughts is there.

I've been seizure-free for months thanks to Gabitril, but the side effects were tough to deal with at first. Feeling jittery and irritable was pretty bad, but it got better. Stick with it if it's working, but keep an eye on those side effects.

Just started Gabitril and I'm already feeling pretty tired all the time. Is this normal for everyone? Or should I talk to my doctor about adjusting the dose?

I've been on Gabitril for a few months now, and it's been a game-changer. My seizure frequency has dropped significantly. As for side effects, I've had some dizziness and fatigue, but they're manageable. Just make sure to take it with food!
