I've been struggling with sinus pressure and a persistent cough for weeks. My doctor prescribed Guaifenesin/pse 600/60 ER Tabs, a combination of guaifenesin and pseudoephedrine, with the idea that it will help clear my nasal passages and loosen the mucus in my lungs. I've read about some potential side effects, including dizziness, feeling nervous, and trouble sleeping. I'm a bit nervous about these, but I'm hoping the benefits outweigh the risks. Has anyone else used this medication? What were your experiences like? Any tips on managing the side effects?

I've had pretty bad experiences with pseudoephedrine in general. It always made me feel weird and anxious. I'd recommend trying a different decongestant if you can.

Definitely be careful with the pseudoephedrine part. It can make you really jittery if you're not used to it. Try taking it with food if that happens to you.

I found that taking it in the morning helped a lot. It would wear off by the time I went to bed, so I didn't have trouble sleeping. Gave me a lot of energy.

I think it depends on the severity of your symptoms. If you're really bad off, it might be worth toughing out the side effects for a bit.

Make sure you stay hydrated while taking this. It can make you a bit dehydrated on its own. It's important to drink water.

Worth a shot if you're desperate. It's not a magic pill, but it can make a big difference. If you're looking for something mild, this isn't it.

I've taken this before and it worked wonders for my sinus pressure. Took it before bed and it helped me sleep well.

I had a similar issue with sinus pressure and mucus. I took this and it felt like I could breathe through my nose again. I was so happy to cough it out. It’s a great medication.

I had a bad reaction to it. I woke up with a lot of swelling in my face. I had to go to the emergency room. Might be the worst sinus medicine experience I've ever had.

I don't think the side effects are that bad if you manage them right. Just be careful if you take other medications. This isn't one you want to mix with other stuff.
