Has anyone taken Colestid 5gm Packets 30 for high cholesterol? How was your experience?
I've been prescribed Colestid 5gm Packets 30 to help lower my high cholesterol levels. I've read that it works by binding to bile acids in the intestines, which helps to remove cholesterol from the blood. However, I'm a bit concerned about the potential side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone here taken this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Did you notice any improvements in your cholesterol levels? How did you deal with any side effects? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had some stomach issues at first, but they went away after a week or so. Stick with it, and don't forget to talk to your doctor if you have any concerns!
I started feeling some serious chest tightness after a few days on Colestid. Never took it again. Those side effects are no joke. Am I alone on this?
I stopped taking it because of the taste. It was just too much.
I took this to lower my cholesterol but didn't notice too much of a difference. Might need to combine with a better diet or exercise routine
I switched to a generic version and it worked just as well. Saved me some money too!
