I have just been prescribed Dexamethasone 13-Day Tab and I am a bit anxious about the potential side effects. I know it's used to treat a variety of conditions by reducing inflammation and calming down an overactive immune system, but the list of possible side effects is quite intimidating. I've read that it's used for conditions like allergies, asthma, arthritis, skin conditions, and even certain cancers. Has anyone had any experience with this medication? Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had to take it for a skin condition and it worked wonders. But the bad side effects were the hair thinning. I'm having to use some special shampoo and conditioner to keep my hair healthy.

I never experienced anything too bad. Just a bit of dizziness and some weird mood swings but I think it's from the stress of my condition in the first place.

I took it for a while for my rheumatoid arthritis. The inflammation went down significantly, but I did gain some weight and had some mood swings. It was worth it for the relief from the arthritis, though.

I took it for a severe allergic reaction and it worked wonders. The side effects were manageable for me, but I did experience some insomnia and increased appetite.
