I was prescribed Emend 125mg for Oral Suspension to help manage nausea and vomiting during my chemotherapy treatments. I’ve heard it’s quite effective, but I’m also a bit concerned about the potential side effects. Has anyone else taken this medication? I’d love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Did it work well for you? How bad were the side effects? Any tips or advice for managing them would be greatly appreciated.

As someone who works in oncology, I can say Emend is commonly prescribed and works for a lot of people. Just be vigilant about side effects and talk to your doctor if anything seems off.

I did not have any problems with Emend. It was a breeze compared to the chemotherapy itself. Just follow your doctor's instructions and you should be fine.

Same. I had hives and my doctor said it was a rare side effect. I switched to another med and it was fine. Not fun, but manageable.

I took Emend and it worked great for me, but I did have to deal with some hives. I had to stop taking it for a bit and see my doctor. It's worth mentioning to any who experience anything like it.

If you're worried, talk to your doctor. Emend is great, but your health is number one. Trust your medical team.

Emend helped me a lot, but I was really careful about the side effects. My doctor said to watch for signs of dehydration. It sounds scarier than it is; just make sure you drink plenty of water.

Emend was a lifesaver for me. I didn’t experience any major side effects, just some mild dizziness and fatigue. But the nausea? Gone. Totally worth it.

I wonder if there are any newer medications coming out that might be even better than Emend. Has anyone heard of any developments?

I had a similar experience. The dizziness was a bit tough to deal with, but nothing too bad. Just take it easy for a day or two after your dose. You'll be fine.
