I've just been prescribed Fenofibrate 145mg tablets to help lower my triglycerides and LDL cholesterol. I'm a bit nervous about the side effects, especially the more severe ones like allergic reactions, liver problems, and muscle pain. Has anyone else taken this medication? What was your experience like? Did you notice any significant changes in your cholesterol levels? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I had to stop taking Fenofibrate because I developed severe muscle pain. It was pretty scary, and I ended up in the hospital. My doctor switched me to a different medication, and I feel much better now. Definitely keep an eye out for any unusual symptoms and don't hesitate to contact your doctor if something feels off. Ghosting to see if I'm not the only one who had this happen.

Did you ask your doctor about the potential side effects before starting the medication? I always make sure to have a clear understanding of what to expect and what to look out for.

If you're worried about the side effects, you could always talk to your doctor about starting with a lower dose and gradually increasing it. That's what I did, and it worked out for me.

I've been on it 2 years, no issues yet. I've seen a decent drop in my triglycerides and LDL. My only comments are to listen to your Doctor, and follow his advice.

I didn't have any problems with Fenofibrate, but I did have to deal with some really bad side effects from a different cholesterol medication. It's all about finding the right one for you, so don't be discouraged if this one doesn't work out.

Just make sure to stay hydrated and listen to your body. If something doesn't feel right, trust your instincts and talk to your doctor. Your body is smart, and it will tell you if something is wrong.

This medication is a little different than some of the other cholesterol medications, and I really didn't notice a huge uptick in my energy levels, but my labs got a lot better. That made me feel better in the long run .
