I was recently prescribed Flucytosine 500mg Capsules for a severe fungal infection affecting my brain. I'm a bit nervous because I've read about some serious side effects. I had a really bad allergic reaction to Flucytosine. It was terrifying. I ended up with a rash all over my body and had trouble breathing. It's definitely not a medication to mess around with.
