Has anyone taken Phos-Nak Powder Packs for kidney stones? What was your experience?
I've been prescribed Phos-Nak Powder Packs to help prevent kidney stones by making my urine more acidic. Has anyone else had experience with this medication? I had some pretty bad stomach issues when I took these. Definitely talk to your doctor about it.
If you're worried about side effects, maybe ask your doctor about a lower dose?
I think people need to be more aware of the serious side effects. If you experience any, GET HELP IMMEDIATELY (I can't stress this enough).
Make sure to read the side effects list carefully. I had a friend who had a severe reaction.
Phos-Nak saved my life, literally. Been on it for years and no more kidney stone pain.
I switched to a different medication because Phos-Nak made me feel so tired all the time.
Diarrhea was really bad for me. I couldn’t leave the house for a few days – had to take some Imodium to get through it.
I think it's great that you're being proactive about your health, but don't ignore any strange symptoms.
I was on Phos-Nak for a few months and it worked wonders for my kidney stones. Just make sure to stay hydrated and monitor your electrolytes.
