I take this for my kidneys and it has helped a lot. I did have to adjust my diet to make sure I'm getting enough nutrients, but overall, it's been good.

If you do experience any serious side effects, don't wait it out. Go to the hospital. Better safe than sorry.
Be careful with the electrolyte issues. I had some muscle cramps and weakness at first, but my doctor adjusted the dosage and it got better. Keep an eye out for those symptoms.
