Has Anyone Tried Acid Gone X/S Antacid Chewable Tablets for Heartburn Relief?
I've been struggling with heartburn recently and decided to give Acid Gone X/S Antacid Chewable Tablets a try. These tablets contain aluminum hydroxide and magnesium carbonate, which work together to neutralize stomach acid. So far, they seem to help with my symptoms, but I'm curious to hear from others who have used them. Have any of you had similar experiences? How effective have they been for you? And have you experienced any side effects, especially the more serious ones mentioned in the packaging, like allergic reactions or trouble breathing?

I took these once and broke out in hives. Scared the crap out of me. Had to rush to the ER. Haven't touched them since.
I wish they made these in a bigger pack. I go through them like crazy when I'm on a heartburn kick.
Anyone know if these are safe for pregnant women? I've been having bad heartburn lately and my doctor hasn't given me anything.

I tried them and they gave me the worst case of diarrhea I've ever had. Might have been a one off but I won’t be trying them again.
I've been taking these for a while now and they've been a lifesaver for my heartburn. No major side effects so far, just a bit of constipation occasionally but my doctor told me to knock off the dairy.
Be careful with these if you have kidney issues. The aluminum can be tough on the kidneys if you're not careful
