I've been struggling with cold and flu symptoms lately and a friend recommended Actidogesic-Df 1-500mg Tablets. It's a combination medicine used to relieve symptoms like headache, body aches, fever, sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes. It contains acetaminophen for pain and fever, and dexbrompheniramine, an antihistamine, to help with allergy-like symptoms and runny nose. I'm a bit hesitant because of the possible side effects, especially the severe ones. Has anyone here tried it? I'd love to know your experiences and if it's worth giving a shot. Also, are there any tips on how to manage the potential drowsiness or feeling nervous and excitable? Thanks!

I tried it once but felt really nervous and jittery. Maybe it's not for everyone. I'll stick to basic cold medicine.

Beware of the drowsiness. I had to take a nap after taking it and that’s not always convenient

I've had success with it for allergies too. It clears up my runny nose and helps with watery eyes. Just a heads up, the drowsiness can be pretty intense so I usually take it before bed.

I take it every time I get a cold. Helps with the fever and body aches but the drowsiness can be annoying. I just plan for a lazy day when I take it.

It’s great for relieving symptoms, but I noticed it made my urine more yellow. Just a heads up to monitor that.

I had a bad reaction to it. Got hives and had to go to the ER. Not worth the risk for me.

The combination of acetaminophen and antihistamine is really helpful. Just make sure to stay hydrated and avoid driving or operating heavy machinery.
