I've been dealing with some persistent muscle pain from a recent strain, and I came across Coats Aloe Liniment 10% Liq 976ml. It's described as a topical pain reliever that creates a warming sensation to distract from pain. Has anyone used this before? I'm curious about its effectiveness and any potential side effects. The product mentions that it can cause skin irritation and allergic reactions, which is a bit concerning. Any personal experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated!.

I found that it works best when applied after a hot shower. The heat from the shower opens up your pores and makes the liniment absorb better, at least in my experience.

This stuff helped me a lot but I do have sensitive skin, and had a bit of irritation on my arms. I had to use it more sparingly afterwards.

Definitely watch out for the redness and irritation warning. I didn't read the box carefully and ended up with a pretty nasty rash.

I’ve had some friends who had bad allergic reactions to these sorts of topical pain relievers. Make sure you patch test before applying it all over.

This stuff is amazing! My husband uses it for his arthritis and it really helps him.

I think it's great for minor aches, but it's a bit pricey for what you get. For more serious pain, I prefer my prescription meds.

I had no idea this existed, but I'm definitely going to give it a try. My sister swears by topical treatments for her joint pain, so I think it's worth a shot.

I used it on my bruises after a car accident and it seemed to speed up the healing process. I have a pretty high tolerance for pain, and I didn't even need to apply it very often.
