I've been dealing with a persistent cough and nasal congestion for days, and I decided to try Tusnel Liquid. It's an over-the-counter medicine that combines guaifenesin, pseudoephedrine, and dextromethorphan to relieve these symptoms. I've read that guaifenesin helps thin and loosen mucus, pseudoephedrine helps clear up a stuffy nose, and dextromethorphan reduces the urge to cough. I'm hoping it works well, but I'm also a bit worried about potential side effects like dizziness or trouble sleeping. Has anyone else tried this? How did it go for you? I want to hear both good and bad experiences and any tips you might have.

I would not recommend this. I had horrible side effects and I did not feel good while under the medication for the whole time.

I took Tusnel Liquid last winter and it was amazing. I felt better almost instantly. I didn't have any side effects either.

I’ve had trouble with dextromethorphan before because it didn’t mix well with my other meds. You shouldn’t mix meds. I wish I'd known that sooner!

Tusnel Liquid worked wonders for me! My cough was gone in a day and my nose wasn't stuffy the next day! I didn't have any side effects either.

I’ve used Tusnel Liquid a few times and it's always helped with my cough, but I did feel a bit jittery and had trouble sleeping. I think it works best when I take it earlier in the day.

I was sweating like crazy from the nervous/excited feeling. I guess it wasn't the med for me.

I tried it and it didn't do much for my congestion. I might have a bad batch, my friend recommended it though.

Interesting, I didn't know about this one. I usually stick with plain old Robitussin or DayQuil. I'll have to ask my pharmacist about it next time I'm in.
