I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and my doctor prescribed Zituvimet XR. It's a combination of sitagliptin and metformin, which is supposed to help control my blood sugar levels. I've started taking it, but I'm a bit nervous about the possible side effects, especially the urgent ones. Has anyone else used this medication? I'd love to hear about your experiences, both good and bad. Especially interested in how to manage any potential side effects!

I'm glad to hear so many positive experiences about this medication. I just switched to it from a different drug combination and I've been feeling a lot better. I think it's worth giving it a shot if your doctor recommends it.

I had a bad reaction to metformin a few years ago, so I was skeptical about trying Zituvimet XR. But my doctor assured me that the combination might work differently. I decided to give it a try and it's been okay so far, no major issues. Just keep an eye on your blood sugar levels and if you feel any symptoms you should immediately seek medical advice.

I've heard some scary things about the side effects of this medication. I've heard it can cause severe allergic reactions, which is terrifying. I had a friend who had to go to the hospital because of an allergic reaction to a different medication. Has anyone had issues like that with Zituvimet XR?

I just started taking Zituvimet XR and I'm already feeling better. The doctor said it helps the body use insulin better, which I think is making a difference. Good luck! Keep us posted on how it goes for you.

I had a scare with my blood sugar levels dropping too low when I first started Zituvimet XR. I had to adjust my diet and timing, but now I feel like I've got a handle on it.

I had a bad experience with metformin alone, but I gave Zituvimet XR a try and it's been better. I take it with a meal and haven't had any major issues so far. But I do keep an eye out for any signs of lactic acidosis or pancreatic problems. I had a friend whose mom developed pancreatitis while on a similar medication, and it was a nightmare. Take it seriously.

I've had some issues with joint pain since starting Zituvimet XR. My doctor said it could be a side effect, but we're keeping an eye on it. I hope it goes away soon. Also, keep an eye out for any signs of a skin reaction. It can be pretty serious.

I think it's important to remember that everyone's body reacts differently to medication. I'm on Zituvimet XR and I haven't had any major issues. Sure, I had some upset stomach at first, but that went away. I think it's worth trying. But always consult your doctor before starting any new medication.
