I've been prescribed Asperflex Lidocaine 4% Cream for some minor skin irritations and burns. The doctor said it would help numb the area and relieve discomfort, but I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. Has anyone else used this cream? I applied it to a bug bite and it worked well, but I got a bit of swelling. Nothing too bad, but it was unexpected.
The cream really helped with the itching from a rash, but I noticed some changes in skin color around the application site. It wasn't too bad, but it was noticeable. Should I be worried?
I applied it to a sunburn and felt a bit shaky afterwards. Not sure if it was the cream or just the sunburn, but it was a bit unnerving.
I used it on a small cut and got some severe numbness and tingling. It was freaky. I didn't think it was supposed to do that. Did I do something wrong?
My doctor warned me about the risk of acidosis. I had no idea that was even a thing. I wonder how common that really is.
I’ve never had any major issues, but I always check the label to make sure I’m using it correctly. It’s helped with minor burns and stings plenty of times.
I had a terrible reaction to it. Got hives and had trouble breathing. Scariest thing ever. Went to the ER and they said it was an allergic reaction. Never using it again!
