Has anyone used Kcl/d5w/nacl .075/.45 Inj, 1000ml? What was your experience like?
I've been prescribed Kcl/d5w/nacl .075/.45 Inj, 1000ml and I'm a bit nervous about the potential side effects. I've read about the urgent side effects like allergic reactions and fluid/ electrolyte problems. Has anyone else had experience with this? What was it like? Were the side effects manageable or did you have to seek medical help?

Side note: Make sure whoever is giving you the injection is experienced. Bad technique can cause more irritation and discomfort.
I had this during a hospital stay and honestly, I didn't feel anything. Maybe a little irritation at the injection site, but nothing major. Fingers crossed you have a similar experience!
I've had this before and I didn't have any major issues. Just some mild swelling at the injection site, which went away quickly. Definitely keep an eye out for those serious side effects, though.
I've had this stuff and it was a nightmare. I got a rash all over my body and ended up in the hospital. If you start feeling off, get to a doctor ASAP.
Feeling anxious is normal but trust your medical team. They're there to help and will monitor you closely. You got this!
