I was recently prescribed Miconazole 3 DS Vag Supp 3's to treat a persistent yeast infection. The instructions are straightforward—insert one suppository vaginally at bedtime for three days. Has anyone else used this treatment? I'm curious about your experiences, especially regarding side effects. The list of potential side effects is a bit daunting, and I'm hoping to hear from others who have taken this medication. Did you experience any of the more severe symptoms like allergic reactions or severe stomach pain? Or were your side effects more mild, like burning or vaginal irritation? Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I had a bad-smelling discharge and went to the ER. Turns out it was a different infection. Always get checked if you're unsure!

Joking aside, if you're dealing with this, you know you're not alone. Stay hydrated and be patient. A doc friend said micinazole is a strong medication, but it does work.

I had a bad reaction to it. Got a rash and had to stop. Definitely talk to your doctor if you notice anything weird.

I had vaginal irritation the entire 3 days, with no sign of relief after the three days were done. I had to contact my doctor. Make sure you're in sync with your doctor.
