Hey everyone, I'm new to this and need some help. I've recently been prescribed Auvi-Q 0.3mg Inj for severe allergies. It's an auto-injector containing epinephrine, which treats life-threatening allergic reactions. I'm a bit nervous about using it and wanted to hear from others who have experience with it. What side effects did you experience? Did you have any issues with it or have questions answered by your doctor? Any tips on how to use it correctly or what to expect?

I’d recommend practicing with a trainer version of the Auvi-Q. It helps you get comfortable with how it works and builds up your confidence. Make sure to keep it accessible and always check the expiration date.

Seriously? Injecting a dose of adrenaline right there? I'd rather die. I'm breaking down the door of the hospital before I inject myself. That idea is nuts!

Keep it in an easy-to-reach spot, not buried in your bag. I almost lost a few minutes looking for it when I needed it most.

Aww man, I got one of those epinephrine injectors with a slightly different name. Really good for the wallet, but I doubt they work as fast as the AuviQ. I may try to get my hands on one of these.

I had a bad experience with Auvi-Q. I got a huge welt at the injection site and it ached for days. I’ll give it up for the allergy relief but the pain was not worth it

I've been using Auvi-Q for a few years now and it's a lifesaver. I had a severe allergic reaction a few months ago and the Auvi-Q worked instantly. No real side effects, but it does give you a bit of a shake.

This actually saved my life. I thought I was going to die before I used it. Seems like a lot of side effects for such a small device, but I'm glad to have it.

I'm allergic to a really common food. My doctor prescribed me Auvi-Q 0.3mg for the first time last month. I was able to carry it around easily and I was glad I had it. However, I got pretty jittery and my heart was racing for a while after using it. But it worked, so it's worth it.
